I received so many amazing and inspirational messages from you all about what you love about being a creative being that it was quite impossible to choose. So I let the creativity goddess do it for me!
I printed out the page with all your fabulous comments, cut each one into a strip and then put them in my version of a Harry Potter Sorting Hat. And then closed my eyes and pulled the name out.
And the person who was chosen was the lovely Maggie Schleich. She is another Expressive Arts Soul Sister who offers workshops and classes at her fabulous web home Spoke and Flame. So please go take a minute to go and check her out
I’m just sorry that I couldn’t give ALL of you free passes to the BIG Wish E-Camp You certainly deserved it!
Even if you didn’t win the free spot, I hope to see you all at the course! I know it’s going to be great fun and I’m confident it will fill your creative well with much juicy goodness.
Dear Chris,
My Mom died this last week, of Alzheimers. I am so grateful to you and your Creative Arts space in Oakland. Even though I am an expressive artist myself (InterPlay) with a full blown career, to be able to go “elsewhere,” into a different media, with your incredible love and support made such a difference. As I grieve, I hope to come paint some more. Loss cannot be put into words. The eye, the heart, the silence hold it best.
