I don’t have a dog. In fact my hubby and I don’t have any living furry pets at all because we both have pretty severe animal allergies. But we also love animals. And so we have many stuffed animals, carved wooden folk art animals and tons of imaginary friends in our house. I also have animal friends who show up in my art at times and today it was this happy, big hearted doggie, who appeared while I was doodling and playing with some colored gel pens.
I’m pretty sure his name is Seymour the pink Samoyed…even though he doesn’t look like a Samoyed at all! But it doesn’t really matter since it’s MY imaginary world and he’s my imaginary friend so I can do whatever pleases me!!
Look how he digs into the Earth. Love that about him!! The colors are grand and glorious, too. Such a happy, heavenward, grounded pup.
I didn’t know if you would see the comment I left on an ‘older’ post so, I wanted to comment here.
Your words about creativity and comments and comparison and applause have really rung true in my soul. It’s funny cause on my blog I posted something about that on Nov 24 – it was a very magickal moment that I happened upon while being creative. I am seeing that the magick of that moment is continuing with my wandering to your sacred space here.
Thank you for your words. I applaud your creative soul and the sharing of your journey through.
