A few weeks ago I was invited by the wondrous Amanda Oaks, creator of Kind Over Matter, to submit a post about kindness to her hugely popular and inspiring site. And since the creativity goddess has been relentless in her demands for me to be writing poetry what I ended up sending her was a poem entitled Kindness Is…
Amanda graciously accepted it and then in her characteristic huge-hearted way asked me if it would be OK if she turned my words into a graphic that anyone could download.
Of course I said “Hell Yeah!!” and she went ahead and created the beautiful offering that you see here.

One of the things that I love the most about the internet are the rich and soulful creative communities that flourish in the digital realm. And also how through those many and varied avenues of relationship I have been able to have the privilege of connecting with magical people like Amanda… who I also totally adore!!

I don’t know if you ever got my follow-up reply to your comment on my blog, but I just wanted to tell you what an absolute GEM I find in you too, and what an AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL inspiring presence you are! This is the first I’ve seen of this poem, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Like you said, poetry feeds my soul like NOTHING ELSE, and it boggles my mind more people don’t experience it in the same way. But I also love that they don’t too, as is part of our diverse experience – eh?!
