What is it?
The Creative Soul Sisters Jump Start is a community of Wonder Women who have graduated from the Creative Juices Arts Wild Heart Teacher Training Program and are looking for an energetic boost to move themselves and their businesses out into the world.
Think of it as an Accomplishment Support Group for Expressive Arts Professionals where you will set an intention, focus on completing a project and then receive expert assistance and guidance on the best ways to manifest your creative vision.
The purpose of this group is to keep you focused and on track around manifesting your vision for this work. To sustain you in the practice of continual, concerted ACTION as you take concrete, real world steps in the service of your dreams and desires coming true. Now that you’ve completed the Creative Juices Arts Wild Heart Teacher Training you have a boatload of teaching and facilitation skills. The next step is to put those skills to use in the service of realizing your business goals.
Why do I need this?
Running your own business is just hard! Its taken me a long time and a LOT of work to get to where I am and I know how challenging it is to even get started. In many ways, getting over that initial hump of running your first workshop or setting up your first website is the most difficult. I have graduated over 80 women from my Creative Juices Wild Heart Teacher Training program and I have seen that many of you need continued aid and encouragement after the program ends as you struggle to create a satisfying and viable business.
I believe deeply in this work (as you all can probably tell) and I want to see ALL of you manifesting the vision of creative success that motivated you to take the training. I believe that each and every one of you has the ability and capacity to BE that successful creative entrepreneur!
However, sometimes it’s tough and confusing to figure out the next steps. Or to overcome the anxiety, paralysis and doubt that can plague you when you are beginning this entrepreneurial journey. But don’t worry, it’s only fear and we have all kinds of tips and techniques designed to keep that fear from becoming an immobilizing influence through activating your innate and natural creative bravery. Fear is always there on the path to learning to open our own hearts to our deepest desires.
How does it work?
The Jump Start meets every two weeks for 2 hours for a period of six months. Initially, we will help you decide on an appropriate “next step” project to move you forward. This next step could be creating a website, putting on a workshop, creating a blog, or any other project that you are wanting to birth into being.
With our guidance, you will break your project down into manageable, doable, baby-steps. Then, during our bi-weekly group call, everyone will get a chance to check in about their progress since the last call and explore what worked for them and what didn’t. We will continuously provide you with support, feedback, and course corrections so that you can make effective choices for your next chunk of work to keep your project moving forward.
- You will be held with tremendous patience, kindness and respect as you grapple with the various challenges that come up for you.
- You will receive whatever wisdom and guidance we have to offer … which is a LOT … in planning your next moves and gaining a deeper understanding of what’s the BEST next step for you.
- You will be held accountable to yourself and the commitments you have made in a firm yet loving way.
- And, of course, we will JOYFULLY celebrate ALL of your victories and triumphs, great and small. There might even be confetti!!
- There will also be a private Facebook group just for the members of the Creative Soul Sisters Jump Start. Here you can be needy, greedy and proud of it around your inner emotional struggles with manifesting your project. Post materials you are working on for review and feedback. And simply practice the art of receptivity by asking for any other assistance you need. We strongly encourage everyone in the Jump Start to interact with and use each other for the loving support, wise guidance, and sage advice that will be there in abundance.
How many people are there in the group?
I am limiting the Creative Soul Sisters Jump Start to 8 people on a first come, first serve basis. I want to keep the group size small so that everyone can get individual attention during our calls and have the opportunity to be seen, heard, and honored.
In addition, I will be on the call to help guide you, answer questions, and help you plan your project. I will also be participating regularly in the Facebook group.
But how will it work if everyone is working on different projects?
We expect and invite everyone to work on what they feel is the most important piece of their work during the Jump Start. This means that people will be in different places and working on different aspects of their business.
We encourage this because everyone will be working on something that is relevant to running an expressive arts business and, therefore, you will be able to learn and absorb information even if it’s not what you are working on at the moment. For example, you may be focused on setting up your website while someone else may be struggling with putting together their first workshop. Listening to the steps they are taking and what they are going through will help you understand what you need to do when you get to that place in your business.
Do I have to just work on one thing? What if I finish my goal early?
You can work on as many projects during the 6 month period as you want. However, we are going to ask you to focus on one project at a time before moving on to the next. A common problem that new business owners face is trying to tackle too many things at once and they get overwhelmed and frustrated easily and then give up. We want you to succeed so we want you to stay focused and on track. That’s what we’re here to help with. If we see you getting distracted or overwhelmed we will gently bring it to your attention and help you get focused again. That being said, if you are motivated and wanted to accomplish several projects in a row then we are here to support you do that too!
What kind of projects should I work on?
The actual project is up to you and, if you are stumped on what’s the best project to start with, we can help you figure that out. However, some good places to start are:
- Setting up your website
- Writing your site content
- Finding the best way to host your website
- Integrating an email marketing service
- Using blogging as a marketing tool
- Writing your articles
- Creating a newsletter and building your email list
- Promoting it on social media
- Putting on your first workshop
- Workshop design
- Location scouting
- Marketing your workshop & creating a flier
- Starting an online class
- Deciding on a topic
- Choosing a format (live, webinar, videos)
- Understanding the tech and delivery platform
What are the requirements?
- The Creative Soul Sisters Jump Start is for graduates of the Wild Heart Teacher Training Program who are ready to move their business out into the world.
- You will need to be able to commit to the twice a month meeting schedule but, more importantly, you will need to commit to putting in the time and energy every 2 weeks for 6 months to accomplish your goals.
- You want help, guidance, and to be held accountable by the entire group for accomplishing your goals. As a result you need to be willing and able to hear feedback and to be gently and lovingly challenged from time to time if we see that you are stuck or having trouble getting things going.
- You must have a computer or device that can access the Zoom video conferencing service.
- You must have an active Facebook account to participate in the private Creative Soul Sisters Jumpstart group on Facebook and be willing to check it weekly. (Please note that we will use the Facebook group for all communications and we will not be sending out separate emails to announce meeting dates or schedule changes)
Creative Soul Sisters Jump Start happens online by video conferencing twice a month for two hours each meeting over a period of 6 months. There will be 12 meetings total that will be scheduled at the start of each session. There is a fall and spring session. Please fill out the form below to be notified of the next starting dates.
$200/month to be billed as a subscription from PayPal for 6 months for a total of $1200. You will receive a notification and means to pay several days before the start of the month. Note that the you will be expected to pay the monthly amount regardless of whether you attend all of the meetings in the month. If WE have to cancel or postpone a meeting due to an emergency then we will add extra make up meetings at no charge to the end of the 6 month period. Also, the meetings will be recorded so if you DO have to miss one, you can listen to the group conversation at your convenience.
Where do we meet?
We will be using the Zoom conferencing service and we will establish a Zoom conference room and send out details before the start of the first meeting. To access the room you will need to download and install a small piece of software on your computer the first time that you try to access the room. You can also download the iPhone or Android app to participate from your phone or other device. It is possible to call into the conference but we do encourage you to use the video features as this makes participating and communicating more effective than just the phone alone.

You will also need to have a Facebook account to participate in the group and receive all communications about scheduling. No separate emails will be sent outside of the communications in the Facebook group.

Without a doubt, there would have been no way that I would have been able to launch Artemystic Studios without participating in Soul Sisters.
It not only helped to launch my business, but it was a journey of self-discovery. I would have never guessed that in a million years! Not only did I accomplish more than I imagined, I personally transformed into someone I could believe in. And… MOSTLY… I gained tremendous courage and the ability to see what I can manifest when I am in the right relationship with myself. THAT, is why I am going to do Soul Sisters AGAIN!
I know that the sometimes difficult journey to bring what I love to the world has been and will continue to be worth it! I AM WORTH IT! None of this would have happened without Soul Sisters.
Oh,… and… for those of you that don’t already know… Chris and Tim are amazing. I felt completely supported no matter how resistant or afraid I felt… AND I felt celebrated for all my successes. They totally ROCKED it! Bottom line: Just do it! It’s MORE than worth it!
