Creative Courage
The Art Of Staying Centered In Challenging Times
During this 90 minutes I will be co-creating a sacred creative container with all of you where we will have the opportunity to come together as a supportive creative community. I will be taking you on a journey into your emotional body using the tools of guided meditation, self reflection, writing and expressive art making. My intention is to remind us all that we are not alone during these topsy-turvy times and to practice holding space for ourselves and all of our feelings in a compassionate way through radical self acceptance and creative self-expression.

Setting Up
We will be using the creative process to explore, heal and transform. I will be demonstrating with paper and pastels. However, whatever supplies you already have at home (art supplies, journal, pens, paint, etc) are PERFECT since it’s what you are familiar with. It’s important to remember that to get the most out of this process you need to feel as free as possible to make a mess, to be imperfect and to let go of control. So make sure that the supplies you choose to use don’t get in the way of that experience of freedom. Read over the information below and make sure that you have what you need when we meet so we can just jump right in and start working together!
Using Zoom
Creative Courage online is being hosted on the Zoom video conferencing platform. 4 hours before the event we will send you an email with a link to our very own private online virtual studio.
You do not need to create a Zoom account to participate as the Zoom viewer will be downloaded to your computer when you click on the link. If you want to access our session from a phone or tablet device then you will need to download a free app. You can find help instructions and download links here:
We only have a limited time to be together… so it’s essential that we start on time. So please make sure that you are all set up in your personal creative space with your paints, brushes, paper or canvas and are ready to launch into your creative process when the class is scheduled to begin.
Once you register you will be sent a welcome letter that includes a link to access a closed Facebook group. There is no pressure to participate there in any particular way – or at all. It’s a space to share any stories you would like to share, only if you feel inspired to do so.
See you soon…
From my Wild Heart To Yours,
Chris Zydel
