Creating is certainly the most “enlightening” part of my life.
creativity brushes the dull off the everyday letting the light shine through. <3
Its my creative outlet
Creativity allows you to be conscious of your soul. And when creating there is only being in that moment. It defuses the mind so you are free to be you, free to the energy flow necessary for your life, which enables you to receive the wisdom for your next step or brush stroke. Without creativity there is no life.
Creativity be like a warm gentle blanket that, that soothes but then transports like a magic carpet to hidden dimensions in my heart mind that is waiting to be unleashed!
Creativity is what helps me build the bridge between where I’m at, and where I’m going. It is an intuitive adventure into the unknown, always surprising, always revealing what I can’t articulate otherwise.
Creativity is my mistress, summoning me to the blank white sheets. Our relationship is complicated but she never fails to light up my life.
Being creative is who, I am. It’s the only thing that I have ever found, that kept me busy without boredom. It’s my connection to my mother and traditions.
Creativity is the spark that sets my soul ablaze with joy + fulfillment.
Creativity alows me to connect to the truest most natural version of myself.
Oh sigh…creativity is a MUST in my life – it’s the channel through which I receive my guidance, it is my healer, my muse! My creations hold me and whisper “keep going”. Now I would love a place to my 21 secrets and could use the inspiration. Thank you!
Creativity is everything to me. It touches every part of my life from work to love to home to sex. It’s my juice & my joy.
Creativity is the thing that kept me alive when nothing else could. <3 thanks, Chris.
Creativity is turning on a light when I’ve been walking around in the dark and bumping into things. Sometimes it’s the water I’ve forgotten to drink….oh, so necessary….but easy to forget the consequences of forgetting until they’ve hit. This changes, but it’s where I am now.
im 36 and have had chronic illness for most of my adulthood, and have been unable to work for many years. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve slowly discovered that using my creativity is the only thing that consistently brings me joy, keeps me sane, boosts my mood and confidence, and most importantly connects me with my deeper, higher, intuitive, authentic self. In today’s busy, noisy, stimulating world having a life line to your own spirit is everything!
Painting with my wild heart sisters at Ghost Ranch this past week lit my creative fire in a whole new way! Thank you for sharing this juiciness. xox
Creativity for me is like oxygen. So necessary for life and sometimes, when I’m not creating, it reminds me of moments when I realize I’ve been holding my breath; the world goes fuzzy and gray until I remember to unclench and take a deep breath in.
Viewing and feeling into the energy of others creative expressions inspires me to explore different mediums and play with technique (in art and life). My creative expression flows straight from my heart – learning, sharing and celebrating it with others is where I learn the most about unfolding, depth of peace and joy and holding space for the entire process (including discouragement and frustration) , and it’s ultimately the way I heal and grow.
I trust the creative process more than anything. It leads me to unknown places. It takes me on expeditions into my soul and illuminates things that I wasn’t aware were there. It heals, caresses, guides, shows tough love, and most importantly is ALWAYS safe. It clearly and (sometimes) gently reminds me that ALL of the answers I need come from within.
creativity – the spark that breaks the dull routines in life into infinite crystals of inner light, energy and power
I’ve been sitting at home ill for about 13 years now, and creativity has been a lifesaver. It gives me something to do, something too learn (which I love to do), It gives me goals and I take risks doing creative things. It even gets me out of the house going to a monthly art journal club or sometimes a workshop. Without creativity my days would be most empty, so yes, creativity really does light up my live!
How Creativity Lights Me Up:
1. I feel more ALIVE
2. I feel more confident
3. I feel more connected to Source
4. I feel happier
5. I feel more empowered !! ! !
I am a full time worker. I live for the weekend when I can leave the crappy week behind me and go to my studio and create art. This is my passion and the only thing that releases me from the the negativity of the workplace. I am my true self when creativity takes hold of me.
Art helps me recharge, reset, and move to new places of knowing and breathing. Creativity has been in the depth of my soul from childhood but until recently I allowed life to make very little space for it.. My creative process is in the process of resurfacing and it is an exciting time.
I honestly don’t exaggerate when I say that I cannot imagine my life without creative expression, and there has never been a time when I wasn’t doing something creative.
It’s not always drawing or painting, sometimes I’m more into jewelry or writing… And I learned to embrace these seasons as a part of my creative nature – I’m just not the person to focus 100% on one thing, and what lights me up the most is experimenting and exploring new techniques.
I recently reworked my dining room into a studio because it has the best light in the house. I organized my scattered supplies, paint, canvases, ephemera, and art journals for the first time in years into one space (vs scattered throughout the house). When I come home from work or find myself with a day open for creating, my heart lights up with excitement and curiosity about what will emerge. I love the view of the backyard with deer and birds in the morning sunlight and the sound of music inspiring me to make the sacred marks. LifeBook 2016 is going to be enlightening and a joy. Good luck Everyone! ~Hobby
