Lodging Options At Ghost Ranch

There are three different types of lodging available on the grounds of the ranch to address everyones various needs.

The first level of lodging are the Casitas. These are VERY rustic adobe cabins that are on the periphery of the major activity of the ranch, which means that you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere even though you're really only a quarter of a mile away from the dining room and painting studio.

Personally, I love the Casitas, because they allow me to feel such a strong connection to the land and the sky and the coyotes! And ( except for outright camping) they are the least expensive lodging at the ranch. However, the cabins themselves are extremely basic, almost like little monks cells.

They do come with electricity so you can have lights and whatever other gadgets you need to plug in. And because they are real adobe they are cool during the day and warm at night.  The bathrooms are communal and are in a building separate from the casitas themselves. And you need to bring your own sleeping bag or blankets. I will provide towels, sheets and pillows.

But here's the view that greets you when you walk out your casita door each morning. Which is one of the many reason I personally ALWAYS stay in the casitas!!

Week #1

The lodging fee for a shared room with another wild heart painter in the Casitas is $348 for the week of September 7-13

If you would like your own private Casita for the week of September 7-13 the lodging fee is $648

Week #2

The lodging fee for a shared room with another wild heart painter in the Casitas is $406 for the week of September 15-22.

If you would like your own private Casita the lodging fee for the week of September 15-22 is $756.

The next level up are the rooms in Corral Block. These rooms are right in the heart of the activity center of Ghost Ranch, which means that they are close to the cafeteria, the painting studio and the main administrative office. They include blankets as well as sheets and towels. They are basic but not nearly as rustic as the casitas. The bathrooms are still communal but they are in the same building as the rooms themselves.
