Jodie Forrest
Jodie Forrest, Evolutionary Astrologer and Novelist

Have your friends or clients ever said to you (or have YOU ever said):

  • I have to bend over backwards to be in this relationship.
  • I feel really at home with her.
  • I don't know how to get out of this rut we're in.
  • We just clicked. I always feel so energized around him.

Do you want to do more helpful readings for your clients and their partners?  Do you want to understand the dynamics of all your own relationships better?

Synastry is the astrology of relationships.  Giving an insightful synastry reading is one of the most gratifying experiences an astrologer can have, and receiving such a reading can electrify a relationship.  Traditional synastry analysis often begins and ends with comparing two birthcharts.  Those comparisons are helpful, but incomplete, because every relationship involves a third party, unseen and immaterial yet very potent: the composite chart formed by a blend of the two individual birthcharts.

A composite chart gives you immediate insight into what makes any relationship tick -- and into the specific experiences a particular couple needs in order for their relationship to thrive.  Just as a birthchart shows why a person has come into the world and what he or she needs in order to grow, the composite chart shows the couple's karmic trajectory and what their relationship requires in order to flourish.  How would these two people have the most fun together? What sorts of friends are best for them? What's their natural communicative style? What sort of home most suits them? Their composite chart can tell you all of that and much more.

Come and spend two days with Jodie Forrest learning how to understand and use this transformative technique, and watch your readings AND your relationships dramatically improve.

Transportation:

Flight Information:

The closest airport is the Oakland International Airport (OAK), which is about a 20 minute drive to the Creative Juices Arts Studio and neighboring hotels.

Airline Ticket Purchase:

Past participants have recommended these sources for locating inexpensive airline tickets:

Others who have purchased on-line airline tickets recommend that after you have located your best priced ticket from Expedia or Travelocity, before you purchase tickets from them, check out the same flight on the website of the applicable airline and see what their lowest fare is for that flight. Sometimes it costs even less to buy direct!

Car Rental:

Car rental services are available at the airport. Please check with your chosen airline to see if you can reserve a car along with your flight. Alternatively, you can use public transportation (see below for public transit information).

Public Transportation from the Airport:

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train service can help you travel from the airport to our studio. First, after you get off the plane, you'll need to take an "AirBART" shuttle-bus from the airport to the train station. Then you'll ride the train into downtown Oakland. Finally, another municipal bus can bring you within a short walking distance from our studio.

Travel light! The bus and train rides are easy and convenient, but please don't bring large or heavy luggage, nor any irreplaceable valuables.

From the airport, take the "AirBART" shuttle bus to the Coliseum / Oakland Airport BART train station.   Please click here for more information about the AirBART shuttle bus service from the airport to the train station.

Exit the AirBART bus at the Coliseum / Oakland Airport BART train station. Board the next BART train bound for "Richmond". (The city of Richmond is at the end of the line -- you won't be going that far.)

The BART train will take you past the "Fruitvale" BART station, then past the "Lake Merritt" station (DO NOT exit the train at the Lake Merritt station!) ... Stay on the train as it takes you past the "Oakland City Center / 12th St." station. Exit the train at the 19th St. Oakland station.

At the 19th St. Oakland BART station, find the station attendant's booth and ask for directions to the intersection of Broadway and 20th St. Exit the station and walk to the intersection of Broadway and 20th.

Go to the southwest corner of the intersection of Broadway & 20th, where you'll find an AC Transit Bus stop.   Wait for a bus which has a destination sign that says:   "Eastmont Transit Ctr."   Ride to Grand Avenue at Perkins Street.

Exit the bus on Grand Avenue at Perkins, and walk 3 blocks east to Bellevue Avenue. Turn left on Bellevue. Our studio is located at 432 Bellevue, on the right-hand side of the street. (We will have a "Creative Juices Arts"  sign posted outside.)   Click here to see a map of our studio location.

Special Note for those who use wheelchairs: The buses and trains can accommodate disabled riders. The BART stations have elevators available (although at times, some of the elevators may occasionally be out of service).
